Description
A glyph is a picture made up of symbols that represent data. Students create a picture based on their responses to questions.
Glyphs have many benefits, including:
★promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills
★following directions
★gathering, depicting, and analyzing data
★incorporating art and self-expression
★allowing students to share about each other in a unique way
★THEY’RE FUN to create and to decipher!
In addition to the above-mentioned benefits, the glyphs in this pack:
★incorporate writing and fine-motor skills (Students cut and paste to build the glyphs, then write clues)
★are differentiated
★can be used as a whole-group hunt
★include themes for the entire year!
★are NO PREP- no gathering and preparing materials beforehand. Simply copy and students cut, paste, color, and write!
