EACH PACK INCLUDES 5 ACTIVITIES:
- Read the Word: Decode each CVC word and color the matching picture.
- Write the Word: Identify each picture, segment the sounds, and write the word.
- Find & Trace the Word: Identify the picture, find the matching word, and trace it. The similar answer choices help students look closely at every sound and letter instead of guessing!
- Read the Sentence: Read each CVC sentence and color the picture that matches.
- Edit the Sentence: Correct capitalization and punctuation errors, then rewrite the complete sentence.
That’s 288 task cards across 30 activities total, plus matching student recording sheets for every activity.
Picture cards are included in both color and B&W for easy printing.

HOW TO USE
1. Print and cut apart the cards. You can print each activity on a different color of paper for easy sorting.
2. Post the cards around the classroom or place them at stations.
3. Give each student the corresponding recording sheet, a clipboard, and a pencil.
4. Students find each numbered card and complete the matching numbered section.
Use this bundle to build a consistent small-group and literacy center routine all year, introduce a new vowel pack every few weeks, then bring in the mixed CVC set for cumulative review.
The word and picture cards from each pack can also be paired to play a CVC word Memory game!
