• Page 1: Target Sound: Tap & Say the picture names
• Pages 2-7: Tap the letters and keyword picture
• Page 8: Trace the letter, find the pictures that begin with the target sound

HOW TO USE

• Use this sound-to-letter approach to help your students make the phoneme-grapheme connection faster!
• The first page doesn’t have any text- just pictures that begin with the target sound. Have students point to the dots under each picture and say its name, extending the initial sound when possible. *Teaches 1:1 correspondence and left-to-right print concept!
• Teach the letter on the next page and have students point to the dots under the letters, say the sounds, then the name of the picture: /a/, /a/, apple.
• On the last page, have students trace the letters with their finger, then with a pencil or crayon. Finally, have them find and color in the objects that begin with the sound.
