Making words is a great way to emphasize word chunks and patterns, which is so important in word study. Anagrams can be tough for little ones, but these anagrams provide word family cards as a support to help your students get started. They also include a picture support to help your kids read the anagram word.

**NO PREP** Simply copy the anagram page and cards you want to use and place in a center. Students cut, manipulate the letters and write in their notebooks.

*Option: use magnetic letters on a cookie sheet with the large word family cards
